Frequently Asked Questions:

Will you come out to my house, measure and look at the space?  

The Online Design Service is just for providing design online.   We can visit your home and take measurements and provide any services you may need but those are charged on an hourly rate or based on the scope of work, so are not part of the Online Design Service packages.

 

What exactly is the process?

You contact us (via phone or email) or you can go ahead and fill out our OnlineDesign Questionaire (below) and we will reach out to you.   Once you select which package you want and email your room photos and room dimensions we will reach out to you via phone go over any questions we may have, collect payment and then begin creating your design.

 

When and how do I pay?

We will contact you via phone and you can pay via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Expresss or Discover) or you can send us a personal check via mail.   We will not start on your design until payment has been made.

 

How long does the process take?  The process will take between 1 and 2 weeks.   We may reach out to you for clarifications or with questions.

 

Where do I buy products on my Shop / Buy List?

You will be able to buy all products online.   We will provide you with a detailed list that will detail where to buy with website address, make/model number , vendor/manufacturer and pricing information.  

 

If I don't like my design - is the fee refundable?   Our biggest goal is to have happy customers.   Although the fee is not refundable we will work with you to rectify your experience.

 

How do I measure my room?   See the attached files to

help assist you with measuring, then email (either a scanned copy or a photo of your sketched plan).

 

 

What photos should I email?   Take photos from several different angles of the room.   Also, be sure to include in the photos any items that you want to utilize or remain in the room.

 

Are there any other items I should email?  Yes, be sure  to provide dimensions/measurements of any items that will be remaining in the room.   Also, send photos/images of any rooms that you really like from magazines, Pinterest, Houzz, etc. (or send your Pinterest email address).

Will we speak via phone about My Design?   Yes, after we receive your completed Design Questionnaire, your photos and measurements will we thoroughly review everything before contacting you to make sure we will be providing you with a design that reflects your lifestyle, taste, style & budget.   We will also have a list of questions prepared to make sure that we understand the space based on the information you provided and will request any additional information at that time.
