Our Design Studio...What we offer clients

We moved into a new, larger location so I thought it would be helpful to review our offerings and what exactly our Design Studio houses.

We offer design, procurement and installation for Furnishings (upholstery & casegoods), Custom Furniture, Exterior/Outdoor Furniture, Custom Window Treatments (including draperies, motorized roller shades, roman shades, valances, cornices, motorized fabric treatments, honeycomb shades, shutters, blinds, etc.), Custom & Ready-made Bedding, (coverlets, duvets, comforters, quilts, sheeting, euros, shams, pillows), Custom & Ready-made Softgoods (accent pillows, throws, inserts, etc.) Custom & Ready-made Area Rugs, Lighting (Chandeliers, Pendants, Flush-Mounts, Semi-Flush Mounts), Custom Lighting, Lamps (Table, Buffet & Floor), Artwork (original, custom, or prints), Mirrors, Custom Mirrors, Accessories, Home Decor, Faux Florals & Trees and Tabletop (china, dishware, glassware, cutlery, etc.)

At Distinctive Interiors we are proud to offer over 300+ furniture manufacturers from the major brands to the one-of-a-kind pieces fabricated by local and international craftsmen.

Our Design Studio houses all of the various wood, leathers, fabrics, metal and stone finishes for each manufacturer. We have all of the pieces needed to design, present and order customized furniture for each Client. This includes everything from body fabric to nailhead finishes.

Our Fabric Library includes fabrics for upholstery, draperies & custom window treatments and bedding. Our library includes fabrics from Kravet, Greenhouse, Thibaut, Anna French, Stout Textiles, Walfab, Kasmir, Lady Ann Fabrics, Texture Fabrics, Brimar, Clarke & Clarke, Fabricut, Gianti Fabrics, JF Fabrics, James Dunlop Textiles, Lee Jofa, Laura Park Fabrics, Link Outdoor, Marcus Williams, Maxwell Fabrics, Pindler, Stroheim, Vervian, Unique Fine Fabrics, Victor Thomas, Scalamandre, Schumacher, Quadrille, etc.

We carry Drapery Hardware including Fabricut, Brimar, Byron & Byron, Paris Texas Hardware, JF Fabrics, Kravet, The Finial Company Hardware, Rowley Hardware, Trax Drapery Hardware and hand-forged custom.

Our Wallcoverings Library includes papers and speciality wallcoverings including; Arte, Anna French, Phillip Jeffries, Wallquest, Texture, Thibaut, York Wallcoverings, Pacific Designs International, Fabricut, JF Fabrics, Laura Park Designs, MDC Wallcoverings, S. Harris, Scalamandre, Stroheim, Winfield Thybony Design and etc.

Our Bedding Library includes Lilli Alessandra, Orchid Luxe, Legacy Linens, Home Treasures, Hi-End Accents, Eastern Accents, Ann Gish, Belle Notte, Callisto Home, Annie Selke, Pine Cone Hill, De Medici Fine Linen, Thom Filicia Home, Barclay Butera, Celerie Kemble, Laura Park Designs, Downright (and custom designed of course!).

We have a sample room with hundreds of Area Rug and broodloom carpeting samples which include everything from outdoor and machine-made to one-of-a-kind New Zealand wool and silk. Our manufacturer lines include Jaipur Living, Jaunty, Feizy, Bokara Rugs, Exquisite Rugs, French Accent Rugs, Stanton, Stark, Distinctive Carpets, Surya, English Village, Patterson Flynn, Davis & Davis, etc.

We have a full range of Paint Samples from Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore.

We have Glass and Ceramic Tile including Lunada Bay and Sonoma Tilemakers. We have countertop samples of natural marble, dolomite and granite as well as quartz (Corian and Caesarstone and plumbing fixture finishes (Kohler, Toto, Brizo, Waterworks, Newport Brass, etc).

For feature walls (such as fireplace walls) we house speciality wall finishes like manufacturered wood products, speciality tiles, porcelain slab finishes and natural stacked stones.

We have an in-house sampling of various engineered hardwood flooring manufacturers as well.

So really everything needed to design 1 room or your entire home!
