If you are not sure what the right style for your home is here are some thoughts to assist:


COASTAL

Features: Colorways that mimic the beach. Paint colors include soft neutrals in beige & sand to crisp whites to soft creams; accent colors include blues in various hues to aqua and turquoise. Incorporates natural materials such as: natural wood tones, wovens, rattan, wicker, shell, driftwood, linens, etc. An airy, uncluttered feel give this style a timeless interior.


MINIMALIST

Features: Clean lines, simple sculptural furniture frames, neutral color palettes and clutter-free living

Typically rooms are focused around soft neutrals (whites, grays or beiges with either bold or neutral accent colors). Design emphasizes functionality and simplicity; often utilizing a monochromatic palette.


MID CENTURY MODERN

Features: Functional furnishings, natural materials and vibrant colors. Wood tones ranging from rich Black Walnut to Light Maples. Typically with an emphasis on natural light and connection to the outdoors.


MODERN CONTEMPORARY

Features: Sleek finishes, bold geometric shapes in furniture frames, unique/modern lighting elements in an open floor plan.


TRADITIONAL

Features: Typically rooted in an historical style, it can feature rich colors and wood tones. Usually has classic furniture elements (think antiques) and ornate details. Homes typically have architectural elements including: crown molding, chair-rail and wainscoting.


TRANSITIONAL:

Features: A blend of both Traditional and Modern styles providing a balanced look. Often with a focus on elegance, but still provides a comfortable, timeless style.


MODERN FARMHOUSE:

Features: Combination of rustic charm with modern elements. Often utilizes neutral tones with wood (crisp white walls & cabinetry, wood flooring and black accents in plumbing and lighting). Architectural elements can include shiplap walls, beadboard or board & batten.


SHABBY CHIC:

Features: Combination of vintage and rustic elements. Colorways are soft colors with distressed finishes. Soft floral patterns and can have a feminine flair.


BOHEMIAN "BOHO":

Features: Layering of textiles, vibrant (or neutral colors) in a relaxed, artistic vibe. Ecelectic furnishings with an emphasis on wovens and natural materials. Known for various patterns, textures, styles & colorways.


INDUSTRIAL:

Features: Incorporating raw elements such as metals and woods in an urban setting.

Think exposed ceilings & ductwork, concrete floors, brick walls and large windows. Showcases metals, and has an edgy, modern look.
